Fail - it's just a word!
Is it ok to fail? ….. It’s like saying is it ok to make mistakes!
When it comes to failing, our egos are our own worst enemies. As soon as things start going wrong, our defence mechanisms kick in, tempting us to do what we can to save face. Yet, these very normal reactions — denial and chasing your losses.
As long as your learning and not going back then YES it is ok. You will never learn if you don’t fail or make mistakes. The key is DON’T quit, that’s when you lose everything you have worked hard for.
Failing does not mean it’s the end, it just means it didn’t work for you. Which means that you make changes and find a way to make it so that does work for you. Not everything will work as everyone is different, so, therefore, things will always work differently for other people.
Failing will always be a massive part of success. a lot of people who are earning 6figure incomes failed at some point. It’s how we become the person we are. The good news is, failure is not the end game. Every person you admire took failure in their stride and turned it to their advantage. They were failures too. But don’t take our word for it, take theirs…
I don’t know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody – Bill Cosby
I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can’t accept not trying – Michael Jordan
Why do I talk about the benefits of failure? Simply because failure meant a stripping away of the inessential. I stopped pretending to myself that I was anything other than what I was, and began to direct all my energy into finishing the only work that mattered to me – J. K. Rowling
My great concern is not whether you have failed, but whether you are content with your failure – Abraham Lincoln
